Protecting the Greater Mosinee Area

A full-time Fire Chief works weekdays 6 AM – 4 PM and a full-time Captain and full-time EMS Coordinator work alternating 2 days on, 2 days off every other weekend from 8 AM – 6 PM. Remaining hours are covered by part-time, Paid-On Call staff.

Home Fire Awareness & Escape Plan

The American Red Cross is asking every household in America to join us in taking two simple steps that can save lives: check or install smoke alarms and practice fire drills at home.

If you need a free lifesaving smoke alarm and live in the Mosinee Fire District (City/Town of Mosinee, Town of Knowlton, Town of Bergen, Town of Emmet), call the station at 715-693-2059 to schedule an installation.

MFD firefighters can also help you create a home fire escape plan with your family.
